I can’t think about it without bawling. I mean, all the previous murders (and by “previous” I mean the many, MANY mass shootings that have taken place in this country since Columbine) involved people’s children, brothers and sisters…I’m not minimizing their loss, no way. But these were babies.
I’m with you, Fink – can’t recall having such an incredibly visceral reaction to any other “event” in my lifetime. We were singing to our entire elementary school yesterday at 9:30, so to see that news and think of the little, joyful, innocent faces we were entertaining while this horror was going on is absolutely heart-wrenching.
This is a gut wrenching and senseless tragedy that generates rivers of tears. Words fall far short of an adequate expression of the horror or of consoling the grieving. I’m on my knees.
I truly believe they are all with Him. Let’s continue to pray for the ones left behind.

So so so tragic…
