It’s CHOCOLATE DAY at the Fink house, YaaAaAAaay!
All manner of items will be dipped, molded, sprinkled, bathed, drizzled, boxed, decorated, labeled and gifted.
Today is special because all the girls in the family who live in town (we miss the Texas contingent, boo) will be together this afternoon for what is turning into somewhat of an annual tradition of candymaking. Mama Fink loves it. The men get the kids and football for the afternoon, and the girls get together and have a chocolate party.
And the Thriller…well, the Thriller gets to taste-test.
Actually, the Browns game will be on my TV — just with the sound muted. That way, I’ll be only visually depressed. Aurally, we’ll have Sinatra, Bennett, Bublé, Connick, JT and other delights.
But for now, I’m about 5 hours behind schedule. Miles to go before we melt. Giddyup!
