Do you ever chronicle your thoughts at a given time? I woke up at 2:30 this morning, but didn’t get out of bed until 3:15. In that 45-minute span, I had some definitely random NFs:
- Prince Charles will likely be outlived by his mother, and therefore never have the chance to be king.
- The windows in our 2nd floor bedrooms are likely 40 years old.
- How exactly do phones recharge?
- I wonder what’s the best way to transport cake pops.
There were probably more bizarre thoughts, but these are the only ones I remember. And now it’s 4:51 a.m. and of course, I am ready to go back to bed. But no! My alarm (which is still upstairs, dangit) will go off in 9 minutes, and it’ll be time to get ready to shape young voices, one wrong note at a time.
Have a great Monkday — a short week for me this time around, yay!
Hey girlie- hope you’re shaking off the creepin’ crud you’ve been dealing with lately.
Lucky you on the short week. Mine is same old same old.
Not sure what cake-pops are, but I imagine they are similar to the things Starbucks sells. Why not transport them in empty egg crates? Will that work?
Have a good one!
Hey, good to hear from you! I am getting better every day, yep. Still not doing too well on the sleeping, but I’m thinking after a certain show closes, that might help.
Egg cartons is exactly how I transport my truffles (cake pops without the sticks) — I’ll bet they’d work for the pops as well. I’ll have to do a test run! (I’ve been asked to do 100 pops for a wedding in the spring.)
Thanks! Have a goody — we’re halfway to the weekend!
Like PK said, egg cartons with the top half cut off are probably the best way to transport them. Just cover the open carton in saran wrap with the sticks sticking out.
As for Queen Lizzie, some of my Brit friends are already making plans for when she surpasses Victoria’s reign in a few years. I wouldn’t be surprised if someone in her employ is already putting together the plans for the Platinum Jubilee as we speak.
Long Live Liz, right? I wasn’t sure how close she was to Vicky. The Queen Mother lived to what, 104? It could happen…
