With one exception. One of my classes misbehaved for the substitute teacher. That’s a bad thing. Gonna have to deal with it.
Do you feel lucky?
The good thing: drinky test came up negative. So it’s on to the next thing. J’ever feel like you’re falling apart from the inside out?
Glad your “drinky” test was negative. What’s next? Hope you receive some real answers soon.
Not sure! I have to go back to see the actual doctor (the tests are administered by other staff) later this month/early April. He promised me we would sort this, so I’m going to hold him to it.
I don’t envy that class.
Haha. It ended up not being that bad. I scored a deal with them: they behave, and I don’t release the alien buried beneath my sternum.
Haha they don’t want that. Your pic inspired me to go hunting for Lalo Schifrin tunes so at least something good came of all this.
A name I haven’t heard in forever! My favorite of his: Theme from Mannix. A jazz waltz for TV? How cool is that, I ask you!
Listening now…I like! I missed this one yesterday.
My favorite…or at least one of them is his villain theme from Dirty Harry.

I think I’ve read somebody else say it…but this really does sound like it could be the origin of the modern film and television score…rhythmic and ambient undertones rather than loud bombastic stuff…at least in the beginning.
What better inspiration for a developing film music composer…
Another music listening journey: John Cage, Arnold Schönberg, Alban Berg
I’m still angry at John Cage for 4’33” but I will try to forgive him and look at some of his other stuff haha. And definitely the other guys.
