Everyone should, once in awhile.
I may be light years behind the times, but this morning, for the first time, I deposited a check in my checking account using my iPad camera. No joke. I took this photo of the check:
…clicked a couple of confirmation buttons, et voilà. Money in bank. Now how cool is that? What’ll they think of next? Chase Bank, you sly dog.
Today will be a good day. I get to see the Js for an hour, then spend some time with two lovely young ladies from Slovenia who are visiting BFF Kay. Then back home and back to work on DT. At least the tap finale number has been chosen (“Anything Goes” from Anything Goes). Truthfully? I’m definitely not a Cole Porter fan. But the tempo’s right. One song down, 12 to go…

Wow I am impressed! I have the feeling that a lot of people (Americans) are afraid to do their banking electronically. That’s all we do now, writing a check is pretty much obsolete.
I hope you are also enjoying those last free days of summer!!!
Agreed – I think it’s definitely the way of the future. Hard for me to imagine some folks making the switch. HA
It’s annoying; my town is about 4 decades behind. Several utilities and services do not yet accept electronic payments. (Although I make it my business to enclose a note reminding them of this fact with every check I send in. Heheh.)
I do the same thing every summer — try and slow down the days! But it never works! Glad you had a great time in the mountains, and I hope the flooding has subsided.
