Awesome start

Heh.

So we were all ready to  leave, right? I’m glad Mr. Kidney Stone decided to make an entrance before we actually got on the road. One minute I’m fine, and the next, I’m writhing on the floor.

Fortunately, my neighborhood hospital staff got me all taken care of, with plenty of feel-good drugs for when the nasty little rock decides to exit stage left.

Kidney stone: check.
Percocet: check.
Happiness: check.

ACK! Poor baby – can’t speak from personal experience (knocking wood) but I understand those things are AWFUL.
Glad you’re on the road to recovery.

I knew you had to take the car into the shop for some fix-ups, but I didn’t realize they were doing all that customization & adding a sleeper car! WOWZA!! [[ducking]]

Hope you’re on the mend SOON and can get back to business/travel as usual!

Thanks, everyone! Definitely something I *never* want to go through again. “Painful” doesn’t quite describe it…

But I think the worst is over, even though we think the stone is still in there somewhere. We shall see. Regardless, have Percs, will travel. HA

I’m behind on reading your blog, and was dismayed that you had a kidney stone attack. Cortisone reactions, car and now kidney stone. Some say that things come in threes. Well, you’ve had yours–in spades. Hope, hope, hope that you have smooth sailing from here on.
